Starting tomorrow, links for the China Online Journals will all point to the WanFang Data Periodicals search page. This will mean the journal title will have to be searched a second time from there, but at least the links will work.
Apologies for the extra step, but it is a work-around that works, as opposed to the current links which do not.
You may also want to bookmark this Advanced Search Page as it could make finding articles (when you have the citation) easier to find than searching just the journal title or browsing. No Comments

“Nineteenth Century Collections Online is the most ambitious scholarly digitization and publication program ever undertaken, providing searchable content from a wide range of primary sources for the “long” 19th century. At all stages of development, Gale sought the guidance and feedback of professionals and end-users to ensure that we were selecting,
digitizing and preserving unique, invaluable documents. Nineteenth Century Collections Online unites multiple, distinct archives into a single resource a wide variety of previously unavailable primary sources, including:
■ Books and monographs
■ Newspapers and periodicals
■ Diaries and Personal Letters
■ And more

Just a heads up that EZproxy (which many people use for off-campus access to Library resources) will be down at 6:00 pm today for an upgrade. Down-time expected to be brief. If you experience EZproxy problems after, say, 6:30 pm, please report them to our Help Form. Thanks! No Comments

Handbook of public pedagogy : education and learning beyond schooling / edited by Jennifer A. Sandlin, Brian D. Schultz, Jake Burdick.
Unfortunately, we have hit the limit when it comes to the number of views allowed with the copy of the ebook that the Library has purchased. As a result, you can “preview” the book (meaning it times out after a few minutes) but you cannot read it for any length of time nor print/download at all.
We are working on expanding access or acquiring another copy. We apologize to the class trying to use this ebook. Please stay tuned for updates. No Comments

We have several eBooks form the University of Toronto’s ITER publishing, but they are not available at the moment. These are part of the “Other Voice in Early Modern Europe” collection. We are working on getting the links fixed. No Comments

A fix was initiated yesterday, and so far it’s looking good. Thanks Joerg & the LSIT crew!
Please try the following if you are off campus and want to access your RefWorks Account:
- clear the cache & cookies from your browser
- go to our RefWorks page
- click on “Login to RefWorks” and log into EZproxy
- you should land on a page that recognizes you as being from UBC. Enter your account info
Direct exporting of citations should be working as well for resources that offer it **except ProQuest resources**. If you use the MyRearch feature, exporting works. We are working on a fix for non-MyResearch users.
Do contact us if you have any questions problems.
