- Monograph Acquisitions translates content needs into access to content. You need it, we buy it. We coordinate and facilitate the purchase and primary discovery of library materials in any format, providing access to information needed to support the education and research mission of the University.
- The Monograph Acquisitions unit manages one time orders and payments for purchase and lease of materials added to the Library collection. Wanting to set up a journal subscription? Contact Acquisitions – Serials.
- Titles in various formats (print books, e-books, DVD, CD, streaming media, music scores, data files, and microfilm) are acquired from all over the world in a variety of languages for every subject area.
- This work is primarily performed on behalf of and in consultation with subject selectors. Acquisitions also has a role in coordination of mediated materials request initiatives that support teaching, learning and research at UBC.
