ISBN (International Standard Book Number) Request

UBC Cataloguing & Metadata is in charge of assigning ISBNs (International Standard Book Numbers) for a number of University of British Columbia departments. The ISBN is a system of unique identification numbers for books, pamphlets, educational kits, CD-ROMs and other forms of print, digital and electronic publications. Once an ISBN has been assigned, it acts as a unique, internationally recognized identifier. If you are a member of one of the following departments/divisions, please direct your ISBN questions and requests to your internal representative.
