Technical Services Department

The Technical Services Department is a centralized unit that performs and provides a wide range of “behind the scenes” activities and services to the entire UBC library system. The department is responsible for the acquisitions, cataloguing and processing of all library materials. The department’s other major focus is on providing and managing electronic resources (e-journals, e-books, databases, etc.) to the library and the community.
