*UPDATE* SpringerLink 2012 ebooks are now available!
Records for the 2012 SpringerLINK ebooks were added (our mistake) to the Catalogue and Summon before we had the access organized. In fact, due to higher-than-expected costs, it is probable that many 2012 SpringerLINK ebooks will not be purchased by the Library.
So, if you come across an ebook that is published by “Springer” and has a date of “2012” and you cannot get access to it, please still report it via out Help Form, but be aware that access may not be possible.
Sorry for any inconvenience and confusion this may cause.

I am very disappointed that we do not have access to 2012 SpringerLINK ebooks, not least because I am the co-editor of one of these books, and it means that my own colleagues and students do not have access to the book. I understand budgets are under pressure but urge you to consider purchasing the license for the 2012 books a.s.a.p.!
I would like to echo Claudia Ruitenberg’s recommendation that the library give very serious consideration to purchasing the license for Springer 2012 ebooks.
Thanks . . . Daniel
Hello, Daniel & Claudia:
Thanks for your comments. I am looking to get an official response here from the Library. My “unofficial” response is that there are two road blocks at the moment to the 2012 Springer titles: cost and the publisher’s terms of agreement. Negotiations continue.
Regards,
Lorne
